Service Contract Executive​

Summary of the role

​To retain and grow aftersales business ensuring customer vehicles visit S & B / Orwell workshops for service/repair and warranty work.


Main job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Processing Service Care Plans for van sales, contact centre, and service advisors
  • To call van & truck customers whose contracts are due to expire
  • Prospecting customers for truck & van contracts
  • Raise contract quotes for Van & Truck Salespersons
  • Process Contract Schedules & Master Contract Agreements for Salespersons
  • Process Warranties every month for Truck customers
  • Ensure all contract information is inputted in ADP Kerridge from the Mercedes-Benz Van & Trucks reports that have Motus as nominated workshop
  • Training colleagues on how to upsell Service Care Plans
  • General Database Cleansing of Contracts within ADP Kerridge


​Skills & experience required:

Service Contract Executive should have experience of a customer support role where considerable emphasis is placed on customer care standards, procedures and systems. A professional telephone manner, presentation skills and enthusiasm to upsell and process the sales of the products & services sold is required.

  • ​To retain a professional telephone manner, asking the right questions & solving customers queries and questions.
  • Focuses on the needs of the customer in the execution of the role and works to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • ​Must be competent with Microsoft suite of products (word, excel, powerpoint) & ADP Kerridge with the ability to learn and enhance these skills. Recommended although not required to know how to create pivot tables, mail merges & v-lookups.
  • Tackles tasks in a structured systematic manner, ensuring completion to plan and to quality standards.
  • Has the motivation and the right attitude to sell products and services the business provides to its customers.
  • Contributes positively to a team in order to achieve common business objectives.
  • Has background in the motor trade with knowledge of systems, processes and procedures.
